Waterfall creek

Wind your way through 40 metre tall red and silver beech forest to an unnamed waterfall. Smell the ozone being created as the water plunges the 33 metres out of a cleft in the hillside and into the pool at its base. It takes 10 to 15 minutes to reach the waterfall on an easy to follow 'NZ' bush track.

A recent storm laid several windfalls (trees) across the track.  One may have been over 600 years old.  These have been cut through to allolw you past.  Kiosk Creek is normally narrow enough to step across however the same storm put a log across the creek serving as a 'tramping' style bridge. Or you may just choose to get your wet feet. Its all part of the adventure.
