Knobs Flat accommodation in Fiordland National Park is a great place for guided birding in New Zealand.  To help you make the most of your time here let us take you to the places frequented by some of our special species along with some of the more common. 

Mohua, blue duck, rock wren, falcon, black fronted tern are some of the less common bird species can be seen and heard from Knobs Flat or close by on the road to Milford Sound.  Alongside these birds the kaka, kakariki, rifleman, tomtit, robin, bellbird, tui, brown creeper, morepork and many others are common to the area.
